The Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) is a choir comprised of diverse Broadway artists who contribute their time and talent to inspire hope and change, serving marginalized communities through established institutional programs and partners on a national level.
With concentration of performances and activity in NYC, this inspirational consortium has performed at the White House, Lincoln Center, and most recently, appearing on the 2025 Tony Awards which they have guested multiple times.
BIV, and its founder Tony and Grammy nominated Michael McElroy, will always hold a special place in my heart for having performed the original version of “It’s About Hope” in Times Square. As part of a Red Nose Day Charity event hosted by the M&Ms store, the choir performed the song to promote awareness of the event and help drive donations through the power of music.
If you live in the NY/Metro area and seek musical inspiration, I urge you to connect to the BIV site, join their mailing list, and check out their live performance. You’ll thank me for it, and I just might be sitting next to you!
