Simply said, Rich Pilger is a monster guitarist. I’d say his “Shy” nickname is indicative of his talent as he doesn’t boast about his attributes, yet he’s as accomplished as anyone you could possibly collaborate with.
Originally from the Jersey/Metro area, one could see and hear the flames ripping from Richie’s guitar while part of Billy Monroe’s metal band Monroe.
Since then and up to current state, Shy has established himself as a singer songwriter, with a steady stream of refined productions, always creative and often with a bit of perspective which I’m always drawn to. Links to samples of Shy’s music will soon be bridged to the KD site.
